Hi! We are Four Step Robotics, and we are investigating quadrupedal robotics through the lens of bio-mimicry. We are exploring the connections between the evolutionary design of four-legged animals and the construction of hoofs, leg joints, and the movement of four-legged robots.
As a group, we are excited to collaborate on the construction and programming of a 3-D printed cat meant to interact with Alzheimer's patients. As part of our work, we were able to meet with Zaigham Abbas Randhawa, software developer for Petoi, to talk about the programming and capabilities of robotic cats! You can view the first part of our interview on the next page of our website!

Currently, we are working on the prototype of our cat, Orabelle, to take to the 2020 Pittsburgh Science and Engineering Fair. We have a long way to go to have a prototype ready for the patients, but we work hard every week and make progress.
